First Work Day!

First day of work in Uganda! After a short 2.5 hours in traffic, we shadowed some nurses in the neonatal ICU. We also had the opportunity to visit a design hub and learn about some interesting startup companies. We finished the day with some Indian-Ugandan food, and Dr. Acharya taught Ryan how to properly eat the eyeballs and brains out of his fish…yikes! At least it was more of a success than Hannah trying to teach Brielle how to eat Indian food. Excited to present our project with the US Embassy tomorrow!
